The Top 15 Best New Feature Releases of 2025
Published on December 19, 2025
2025 was one of the most feature-packed years for SiteSwan, with major enhancements released across the platform.
To help you see everything in one place, we hosted a year-end video webinar highlighting the most impactful updates and how they help you build better websites and run your web design business more efficiently. This article spotlights the top features we reviewed during the webinar—a quick, skimmable recap you can reference anytime.
We released 69 new themes in 2025, bringing the total to 391 industry-specific themes. Each theme is professionally designed, SEO-optimized, and built to convert. Every new theme represents another opportunity to sell a website—especially in niche industries where competition is low and demand is high.
The Hero Image Background Box allows you to place a colored or semi-transparent overlay on hero images. This subtle feature dramatically improves readability, contrast, and visual impact—especially in the “above-the-fold” section where first impressions are made.
Instead of being limited to a single call-to-action button, you can now add multiple buttons within a section. This makes it easier to offer a secondary action—like viewing pricing, calling, or texting—helping visitors move closer to becoming a lead even if they’re not ready for the primary CTA.
Buttons can now animate using pulse or dance effects, adding motion and energy to your designs. These small animations help draw attention to important actions and make sites feel more modern and interactive without being distracting.
With Sticky Headers enabled, the navigation stays locked at the top of the screen as users scroll. This improves usability, keeps CTAs accessible at all times, and creates a polished, professional browsing experience. Transparent headers also automatically adjust opacity on scroll for better contrast.
Section Dividers introduce angled and curved transitions between sections, helping pages flow more naturally. These design elements add depth and visual interest while making site layouts feel more intentional and high-end when used thoughtfully.
The new Map Section post type gives you more flexibility than ever when displaying maps. With multiple layout and sizing options, maps can now be used as a featured design element, placed above footers, or incorporated cleanly into contact pages.
Buttons can now link directly to a specific section on the same page or on another page. This is especially useful for sending visitors straight to contact forms, pricing sections, or key content—reducing friction and improving conversion rates.
We added 7 new image crop shapes for Image and Gallery posts, giving your designs more visual variety. In addition, vertical text alignment for images and videos lets you control whether text aligns top, center, or bottom—small details that elevate the overall look of a site.
Formerly known as Columns, the Items List (Columns) post type received major upgrades:
This allows you to build cleaner, more flexible layouts with fewer posts.
You can now charge clients for one-time services directly from your dashboard—separate from monthly subscriptions. This is perfect for upsells like logo design, printed materials, social media setup, or Google Business Profile optimization.
Automated Website Performance Reports can now be emailed to clients on the 1st of every month. These reports share key site statistics in an easy-to-understand format, helping you stay in touch with clients and reinforce your ongoing value—automatically.
